Apple iPad 2 Camera Connection Kit
Shoot, connect and enjoy! Just three steps to follow and I’m all good with my lovely photos. I just take great pictures using my DSLR, connect my memory card or camera via the connection kit and enjoy all the captured moments. There are two ways on how this item allows transfer of files from camera to the iPad.
1. Using the cable of the camera.
2. Using the SB memory card from the camera.
Left side: The connection kit that should be used when transferring files using the SD memory card.
Right side: The connection kit that should be used when transferring files using the camera’s USB cord.
If asked to choose between the two modes of moving photos from camera to iPad, I would recommend using the SD memory card over the USB camera. Why? Because I can simply remove the memory card, place it with the connection kit and plug the kit to my iPad’s USB port. When successfully connected, the files can be accessed using the Photos app. A new folder is created with the name “Camera”. Users can import all photos or select only the ones they want to transfer.
Here’s a tip: For faster import, it is highly recommended to remove the photos from the memory card every after the transfer is made. The higher number of photos available in the SD card, the slower it will process when transferring files.
In the photo above, you can see that the connection kit is connected to my iPad. I used my SD memory card for the transfer. One thing I love about this product is its color. White Apple iPad 2 Connection Kit is perfect for my iPad. With this device, I’m surely I will barely use my iPad 2 Camera.
By the way, here is a photo collage of the pictures taken at one of the blogger events I attended. In less than 5 minutes, I was able to transfer the event photos, place them in a collage using an iPad app and upload it to my Instagram account.
